What’s a strategic workshop and why do you need one?

Do you feel like site is in dire need of an upgrade, but not quite sure where to start? A strategic workshop helps identify what’s most important, what’s working and what the challenges are.

What is a strategic workshop?

A strategic workshop is a round-table session consisting of discussions and tasks that will highlight the purpose of your site, clarify your goals and ultimately help define requirements. Workshops are a team effort, bringing all your key stake holders together to cultivate consensus and anchor decisions.

We conduct all our workshops online using Microsoft Teams and FigJam, a fun and engaging collaboration tool. Expect sticky notes, emojis and lots of teamwork!

Why do you need one?

Strategic workshops are useful when requirements are vague (which they often are), you want to get your team on the same page, or you’re facing a complex estimation. Particularly useful ahead of new projects or substantial redesigns, a strategic workshop will provide a solid foundation for a a technical scope, RFP and/or creative brief (all of which we can also help with).

We recommend combining your workshop with a site audit for even better value and added objectivity.

How much does it cost?

Strategic workshops start at £3,000 and can usually be delivered in three weeks.

What's included?

Workshops can be tailored to your needs, but usually include:

  • A 2-4 hour online session
  • Up to 10 participants
  • Brand and content reviews where required
  • A summary of findings and next step recommendations
